IRINA
Tokyo based, Associate Designer Irina Southwell, has been sketching and painting since her childhood in Russia. As a child, she traveled the world with her diplomat father and as a young adult, served as an interpreter for the United Nations. She brings this international sensibility to all her projects.
Her design career began in the 90's, when she started her own, hugely successful cosmetic line for the European, Russian and Middle Eastern markets. She realized she could design better packaging than the graphic designers she hired.
The cosmetic line still exists today with a large European distribution. Irina has since sold her interest in the company and focuses her energy on her passion for art and design.
With her strong marketing background and artistic talents, Irina is able to make your ideas visually come alive. Prune is grateful to have Irina as part of the design team.
